What an amazing shop with amazing owners! We are new to the country and drove past the shop once and decided to pop in, we weren’t disappointed. The shop is well stocked with a wide variety of products (wish we could by everything ) and they have such a passion for what they do. This isn’t just a business to them they are actually passionate about it and want to share their experience. I would highly recommend this shop, you will not be disappointed!
They have a small selection of spearfishing gear too! Picked up a nice cheap speargun, helpful and friendly.
Dive Smart Is an absolutely wonderful shop. They have scuba classes and gear and exotic travel and they lead their on trips. Directors, Lee & Kym Are enthusiastic veterans of the sport and they will keep you safe and inspired whilst you complete your dive training or you participate with one of their magnificent overseas diving holidays.
Tagged onto Kym at Truk Lagoon for a week and greatly appreciated his assistance and support given that I hadn’t even booked the trip through Dive Smart. This guy is a Truk veteran and knows his way around and within the deep wrecks like the locals. Consistent emphasis on safety and the decades of experience are on full display.
I did my PADI in October 2018 at Dive Smart in Sydney and I can highly recommend it! Very professional, friendly staff and good price/performance ratio (especially giving the fact that I had a private course due to off-season). Lee and Kym are very experienced divers, run a fantastic diving-shop and really want to make sure that you LEARN how to dive. Besides, they are very welcoming, have great stories to tell and also consider ecological/environmental factors while diving which I really appreciated. Thank you!!! Dankeschön.
