Great experience if you haven't done a cruise before. Plenty of staff to serve you and always helpful, always with a smile. All the staff in the carnival spirit were great. They're really made all passengers feel very special. I wish rest of Australia could learn a bit more about hospitality from the team onboard the Carnival Spirit.

Bait-and-switch! Booked a cruise this Jan for a May departure for a good price. However the cruise has now been cancelled and the person on the phone offered to put me on the next cruise (5weeks later) which cost 56% more! Same length, destinations etc. Classic Bait-and-switch ...
Affordable prices for cruises. The staff onboard were so friendly and we made friends with them! I love how they have professional photographers when you arrive to capture all the fun moments. There are heaps of activities and events on the cruise where you get to dress up. I love how the food is included and you don't feel guilty for trying everything! The food was tasty and the option to eat at the restaurant and food court is awesome. The pool area is so relaxing where there are bars and food stalls. There is always live music which makes it relaxing and fun. It isn't the fanciest cruise but it is so perfect for a family or friends trip where you want to relax and experience something new in a comfortable and fun environment.
Had an amazing time on the Carnival Splendor, amazing crew the bartenders where so kind aswell as our room cleaner Superman. He was so kind, can't wait for Covid to be over so we can come back. Food was absoloutely amazing on this boat.
I'm over it! I've been waiting since February for someone to get back to me about lost property from the Carnival Splendor. The items were stored in the back office from arrival. The other items were left in our room. I thought I was doing the right thing being patient once the pandemic started. I had a pretty good time but it wasn't worth losing these items. Could someone please offer some customer service?
18 weeks since our cruise was cancelled due to Corona, we were initially informed it would take up to 8 weeks for us to receive our refund. Well after 18 weeks we are no closer and neither flight centre or infinity can tell us when we will receive our money back. Unacceptable!!!!
Carnival gave me an account to forward funds into for on-board credit on the 13/11/19. They advised me, I can put money on my on-board account via online banking. They provided the BSB# and the ACCOUNT#. I did a 2000 online bank transfer to carnival with all booking numbers and my name clearly stated in the reference field. When we boarded the ship in Sydney on 18/12/19 the money was missing, so I set up a credit card account, this worked OK, but 2k still missing. On the 21/12/19 the 2k was found in their sister company account. I was told that the funds would be returned, but still I'm waiting. As of today 13/2/20 they have not released my funds. Carnival have very poor customer service, Happy to take your but not so fast when it comes to providing the service. :(
Very poor customer service... I booked cruise for my mum and aunties to enjoy a holiday. Due to COVID-19 they could not make it to the trip, my travel agent sent through the refund request three months ago but was advised today that it is still under review. We were told to resend the email because “don’t know what happened with the email three months ago”... the review team only action on email and do not take any phone calls. But they are not responding to emails either. This is extremely unsatisfying customer service. Lesson learnt not to cruise with Carnival no more. When things go south, they are not there to help...
