Really beautiful building with amazing architecture. Great building to take a look at if you're in the area and a fan of Victorian architecture. Exterior is well kept and extremely polished.

Wonderful historic building built by workers for workers!

Extremely rude and uninterested staff especially at information desk. Hand balling everything on. Every simple, tiny request is too hard. A beautiful old building but by gosh, I really thought the staff were there to help...? I was quite obviously wrong.

I've been reading lots of reviews about this building, and while I support many of them talking about how poorly maintained the Trades Hall was, today (October 1st 2017) news about a massive restoration project surprised me in a good way. Ahead of this project, conservators from the University of Melbourne have found paintings under decades of layers of painting. The experts are now releasing interesting facts about this centennial building, most of the paintings are historic portraits. The Trades Hall will not only refurbish their walls and ceilings, but, luckily now, it will display their rich history for us to discover.

Beautiful heritage building with well preserved features. There is good advice inside for workers in need and the staff are great.

Doing what is needed to maintain good conditions for workers. After 25 years of service Trades Hall organised an event for others in the same field. They kept records my own employer didn't and felt 'someone' recognised the long service and contibution. Without this body, workers conditions will continue to downgrade. Good on trades hall!
