Always enjoy stopping in for a chat and info session with the friendly staff here. Being able to see the tools on the floor gives you a much better sense of size and capability than just looking at the website or reading a review. The shop has a good range of many items not just machinery, they have carving tools, resins and pigments, books and magazines, veneers and timber, resin blanks as well as glues and finishes.

Love visiting the actual store... Even just picking up a click n collect takes me an hour
Phoned ahead to ask after an NVR Power Switch for a Router Table and was advised they (Tim) had one and would hold it for me until I arrived. Tim was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on how things worked and I happily walked out with more than I went for. All their staff were extremely helpful and polite. I'll definitely be going back for more.
I am so grateful for the service and kindness with the staff of Carbatec, I recently had an issue with my scroll saw and when I explained I would have to wait for a ride to bring it in to be repaired, as I am visually impaired and have never driven. Staff member Mark was so kind and said he would be happy to pick my scroll saw up and bring it in to be looked at and repaired, He called me the next day with a possible issue, in a week he called that all was repaired and when I asked the cost, he advised all good, as it was a fuse issue and he was kind enough to deliver back, I always knew the quality of their equipment they sold as my scroll saw never had an issue for over 5 years, never even had to adjust the tension but the quality of their service staff is amazing, Thank you kindly Kind Regards Steve G
Absolutely outstanding service today from Tim in sales, after showing us the range of dust extractor systems, Tim found a solution to suit our needs and budget while explaining to the financial controller the pros and cons of solutions available. Highly recommend this store, always helpful and full of advice!
