The food was EXPENSIVE for a Spanish restaurant, especially the tapas offerings. The sangria is spectacular. Staff are super friendly and attentive.

Good service and ok food is the best way to describe the place. Having been to the food is in no way anywhere close to Spanish fare but it's an ok effort. The servers try their best to cheer up the place which has quite a tired look about it. There's many Spanish places in Sydney and this would be very low on my list to revisit. Around the area there's too much choice for Capitan Torres to continue without improving its decor and food dramatically
We ordered a paella. The taste is good, but the price is pretty high to its amount.
Food is so so as it doesn't taste very traditional, but the service are great.
Seafood paella was great. Bar and restaurant looking a bit tired though.
Such a racist! They allocated all Asian people in the 1st floor. ASIAN YOU MUST SEE THIS. If you go there with White they allocate a table in the ground floor otherwise they will guide you upstairs!! When I went there with my White friends, I didn't realised they have another floor and food was good. And second time, I booked a table and they didn't ask my number. When we got there they didn't care about my booking and they allocated our table upstairs even though there were heaps of tables in ground floor. Even they have two kitchen! I ordered the same one, but less seafood!! If you still willing to go there, please ask him to have a table in ground table. To be honest, they are not only Spanish restaurant in Sydney and their food is not impressive!
only been there once at the invite of friends - initially put off by high prices for main courses, we decided on tapas style - small dishes like garlic grilled mushrooms and octopus - smoky, dripping with lovely garlic butter and delicious. Tasty food without blowing the budget. So if you're careful not to overspend - you could have some delish dishes here.
Terrible wait staff that said we where a 'pain in the ass' table (in Spanish) simply for asking for a new bottle of water. Said bottle seemed to have some sort of floating half dissolved tissue or worse floating in it. The food was nice but seriously work on your manners and simple table service Malakas!!
