I’ve bought a whole bunch of gear from these guys in the Cannington store over the past few years from camera bodies, lenses lighting equipment, bags, tripods, etc, you name it. They have always been really helpful and attentive when I’ve been in-store and the prices are super competitive. Digidirect is always my first stop when I’m looking into purchasing a new piece of gear for my photography business.

If i could give a 6 star review i would. Digi went above and beyond to talk me through the requirements i have being a sports/wedding photographer and the requirments i have on the camera. I need high MP for weddings and a high enough FPS to accomdate sport. I need it to be a solid unit that i can depend on. I walked out with Nikon D850 with a 16-35 F4 and a 105 macro. This setup suits my needs and complements the rest of the kit that i also purchased from Digi over the last 9 years. Thank you so much for you professionalism Nim. I'm sure ill see the team very soon again.

Great range of gear but so hit and miss on the customer service side. On my last the fellow who served me was really helpful and happily help me choose a new micro 4/3rds lense. This visit I was possibly after a new camera body but the sales person didn't seem particularly interested and I left feeling like I had inconvenienced him.

Very helpful chaps! Solid advice if you ask. Time to inspect your next big toy, err, indispensable work tool, if you need it. Enthusiastic and care enough for each individual customer to help them get what they’re after, even if it involves a bit more thought and effort. Thanks very much, Eamon and Joy! Pricing is competitive. It’s one of only two or three full photographic gear retailers in Perth.

Very friendly staff and fast service, also cheaper than everyone else. I asked about another camera for low light video and 2 sales staff spent 10 minutes helping me. 1 showed me video footage of the cameras while the other ran down all the specs. I highly recommend this store.

The worst film development service I have ever used. Not only the quality of the photos is really disappointing, (I could probably achieve the same result using my home printer), but also our negatives were disposed of, because apparently "people don't pick them up and it piles up", so now I can't get them redeveloped in better quality. WHY are the negatives not just put into the envelope with the photos, like in any other decent photo store, is anyone's guess.

Had the product I wanted in stock and was assisted competently and efficiently. Having already read good reviews (which were instrumental in my choosing them in the first place), it's good to support a local outlet, where I'm sure technical support will be forthcoming, if required.
