Food is tasty but the service is diabolical. There is no point having a pick up time guide if you have no intention of keeping it. 20 miss past the due time and still waiting....Staff are only interested in seating guests. Absolutely no respect for other people's time. I will give the staff 5 stars for their ability to ignore the customers just wanting to pick up their food.

One of the best Indian food i have had in Australia till now. Amazing tasty dishes from a wide variety of menu served in a nice ambiance. Was visiting Canberra for 3 days and ended up eating here everyday. Would recommend to try if you are around!!
This place used to be our preferred choice till covid. Went there after a long year gap and the food quality has degraded . Todays visit was the last. What was supposed to be a Hyderabadi biryani tasted and looked like a chicken mixed rice. Update. Takeaway update. Lamb biryani seems to have rubber pieces instead of lamb. Must be frozen food. Chichekn pieces are same in chicken biryani. No words to described this restaurant now. Simply pathetic.
Rita was a fabulous server and can definitely help the patrons feel comfortable. Highly recommend the food and the service. The name falls under the light too. Thank You
The food was really good..Have tried many Indian restaurants in Sydney but Seriously the best Indian restaurant that i have ever been.The food was lovely..Not too much oily and spicy like the other Indian restro's.Staff were very nice especially the little,( i think Nepalese )waitstaff and even the service was really fast..Nice cabins inside for big groups as well.I would definitely recommend others and i will surely visit again when im in Canberra.Really made my day. Thank You Tikka Take for the lovely food and hospitality..
Delicious dishes, Welcoming staffs, and modern designed Indian restaurant. Pros - Curries, Naan, Tandoori chicken, and Thali were excellent - Kids menus are pretty good Cons - A bit of disappoint with Tap beer, especially ‘Tikka Take Pale Ale’ - weak and watery taste - Bit pricy per dish - small amount of food - Only 1 tiny mini prawn in a Goan curry bowl of Thali Recommended! (not beer on tap)
I went to the restaurant at 3.50pm (non-peak hour) and waited for about 40 minutes for my food to arrive. The long wait for food has happened to me twice consecutively. While waiting for my food to arrive, i can see that other people has their food. Food doesn’t come on a first come first serve apparently. However, 40 minutes to wait for food is just too long. I have checked with the waiter and was informed that food will come soon and it didn’t. There were people next to our seat trying to get the waiters attention too but they got ignored and had to go to the counter to ask for their food.
Service was so efficient. Was greeted immediately at the door, had a buzzer on the table to request service, and the staff continually checked in to see if we needed anything. Food was delicious. Amazing tender meat. Even though there was a delay with my meal, the staff communicated this so I felt completely satisfied.
