Before my first appointment, I was skeptical as I have been to numerous clinics before with little to no results. However, after working with Rachel for only a few weeks my skin has improved drastically. I am very pleased with the results. Definitely recommend this place for someone looking for a non-invasive approach to treating acne and other skin conditions.
I always see Chloe when I get any skin care treatments or laser hair removal! Chloe is very professional and takes pride in her work! She always ensures I'm well informed about what products are suitable for my skin and answers any questions I have!
I had a dermapen treatment 2 days ago by Tracy Hunter and I can already see the results! I will definitely be back again. Tracy and the staff at Clear Skincare Clinic in civic are lovely and always helpful when I go in. 100% recommend the dermapen treatment by Tracy.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PREPAID PACKAGES!!!! You will lose your money!!!!! I am using a medicated cream for my skin and they refused service. Fine. But they also refuse to give me a refund. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO NEAR THIS ESTABLISHMENT. If you are getting treated only pay as you go. Do not fall for any of the marketing gimmicks to get you to pre buy treatments. YOU WILL REGRET IT! I promise you.
I don't know why I didn't listen to the other reviews. I guess I like to try things for myself. I had a microdermabrasion yesterday and was literally in the treatment room for 5 minutes. The woman who performed the treatment was friendly enough but was not thorough at all, and had no clue on the technique when using the machine. I've had this treatment multiple times at laser clinics aus and they are so thorough and take the time to make sure they've exfoliated every part of your face and also apply a number of products after. My treatment at cleanskin was entirely different, at one point she just kind of waved the tool around my face, not keeping the skin tight and ended up suctioning right under my eye inthe very fragile sensitive skin. My skin after looked and felt like nothing happened aside from some small areas on my face where she literally made me bleed. What a waste of that kind of money.
I had a led light therapy done at their office and commented how I think the eye protection wasn't sitting well as I can still see a significant amount of red light. They told me it's fine the red light won't cause harm whatsoever to my eyes!! This is NOT true. they don't seem to know their science! If it isn't harmful at all then why bother with eye protection in the first place? I asked for numbing cream for microneedling and they said numbing cream will cause contraindications and will make the treatment less effective. They said they don't have enough time to get me numbing cream. They also force you to buy their skin products when you go in for treatments even though I told the person I wasn't interested as I'm struggling financially and was gifted a treatment package!. Even though I've had similar treatments done at other offices under a dermatologist's care and their products weren't necessary. All in all, I don't think they know what they're talking about and are just motivated to sell more products and fit in more clients.
DO NOT TRUST THEM. I wish I'd never trusted them. My skin is forever changed for the worse after an awful dermapen treatment with them. I was getting acne scars treated (didn't work), and ended up with a whole bunch of fine lines under my eyes from the roughness of their work. The lines appeared one week after treatment & a quick google shows this is a possible side effect of very badly performed dermapen. I raised my concerns at my next appointment & was spoken to rudely. I made 4 follow up phone calls and sent 2 letters to both Canberra and national head office seeking a refund or support (or some human decency) and was completely ignored. Every experience there was awful: other staff walking into the treatment room unannounced while you're vulnerable, cancelling appointments after you've already turned up, the reception phone ringing non stop through your whole visit. Avoid. Clinic: if you are finally going to reply, search my surname in your complaint files.
