Apple store Canberra is the misinformation champion. Made a call a couple of weeks ago. ‘Can I come in and try AirPod Pros? I understand that you have demo pairs but want to make sure it’s still a thing’. ‘Yes sir, we do. And we sterilise them after each use’. Great, so I make the trek into town, stand in the waiting line.... to be told ‘oh no, we don’t do that because of COVID’. So, make the trek home vowing never to set foot into this Apple store ever again. I wouldn’t normally complain about things like this but it’s the second time I’ve experienced this disconnect between what I’m told on the phone and what happens at the store. Unaddressed incompetence is a system failure.

Oh, Apple are just too much! I went into their Canberra Centre store to compare the iPad Air and iPad Pro. They wouldn't let me in as I didn't have an appointment. (There has been no Covid in Canberra for ages. Everywhere else is packed). The next available appointment was a couple of days away. Yet, the store was almost empty. I could see only four customers in what is a very large store. Oddly, though, there was about four times as many staff.
A bit strange with the covid restrictions in place being followed round the store by my own helper/guide/keeper but otherwise a normal Apple store experience. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful talking me through various options. It makes it harder to browse and take you time without feeling like you're wasting someone's time but I guess that's kind of the point to get you in and out at fast as possible without you touching much stuff.
Worse customer experience provided by world leading company... couldn’t done any worse, staffs are lack of their knowledge, certainly needs more training on their products, ridiculous system of checking device issue by making a booking for over a week. C’mon, wake up Apple
Absolutely packed. It was Boxing Day but Apple don't discount so may come back another day. To their credit, they did have plenty of staff to handle the crowd.
Unbelievable! Made the audacious mistake of arriving 10 minutes early for a Genius Bar appointment after last time having to abandon an appointment after waiting in a line for an hour. They checked me in then came back and said oh you are too early you have to go away and come back in 10 minutes.
Worst staff. Told me you cannot use split payment as i was trying to use cash back of my card. It’s against our policy. Can i ask you where is that written. First the lady assisted us and later the man and woman came and was saying it’s against. I was on rush so hadn’t had time to argue. They need to talk politely .
The young lady who helped me today was outstandingly the best customer service I've ever experienced. The manger helped me first as I needed special treatment due to medical issues . And then handed my tech issues to a young lady who was fantastic. The company should and I hope great and reward staff members like such. Thank you very much, me and my family will definitely do much more business with this store. 10
