I have been to 65 Northbourne numerous times and my experience there has always been exceptionally friendly. Their beef cheeks are ridiculously good and my favourite dessert is the lava cake. Scott, Jenny, Val, Josh and everyone else who works there have always made me feel welcome which is why I go back so often. Highly recommended as a place to feel at home with friends.

Exceptional meal & service. Shared the rib eye on the bone & it was cooked perfectly. Great wine list and the one we chose was a blend I’d not tried before and very much enjoyed. All topped off by high quality service from Nick. A five star experience

Great shared plates for entrees and excellent steak for the main course. The location is usually quiet and has a cozy elegant feel to the restaurant. Friendly staff that are happy to provide details about the menu to help you make a selection suites to your own tastes.
Our first experience was great! The servers were friendly and happy to advise us on the menus. The presentation and atmosphere was great. Food was yummy. Owner was friendly and introduced himself. The only little bit of constructive feedback we’d provide was to possibly hold more inventory of wines listed on menu. We will be back.

The food was the highlight here which is the main thing. The food took a while to come out and the decor was a little dated but the service was friendly.
