Good for kids
This is my first time hiking at Meehan Range. It is a huge recreation area. 3-hour hiking just covers 1/4 of the area. I volunteer every month with my wife to remove boneseed which the one of the national weeds. We do the project with the most friendly and knowledgeable people. There are some great trails here for hiking, biking and running. Nice to walk in the nature, listen to birds sound and look at stunning scenes to other suburbs like CBD, Sandy Bay, New Town, Glenorchy, Moonah, Geilston Bay, Lindisfarne, Bellerive, Howrah, Midway Point,... from the top of the hill. There are so many good tracks for biking, hiking and running.
