John is the coolest instructor with loads of helpful tips and opinions to guide you through perfecting your surf skills. I highly recommend this school for all age groups and skill levels. You will meet tons of other surfers and have heaps of fun along the way.

So glad I chose John from Caloundra Surf School for my intro lesson. John is an absolute professional. His ability to connect with every age group, make us feel comfortable & encouraged is amazing. Our group was 5 to mid 50s in years. He included a text the next morning with photos and personalised advice on improving my surfing so I'll definitely go back to him for a 2nd round, trying out different size boards before buying my own. Just awesome - just do it.

A wonderful experience with John for my first time surfing. John is incredibly knowledgeable and so so encouraging. With his help I was able to stand up on my second attempt, well and truest surpassing my expectations.
