Just the place to experience animals up close.Keepers are extremely knowledgeable about their animals taking them for walks around the grounds and chatting to patrons Dingos ,goats, pigmy possums etc great experience. Kids loved it.

Amazing day out, walking around the park you pass by well kept sanctuary’s for the animals. The kangaroos and emus are very friendly and pass by you all the time. It’s an awesome family day out. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Would 100% come again.

Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park is a wildlife sanctuary located in Calga, New South Wales, Australia about 1-hour drive from Sydney. The wildlife park is home to Australian native birds, mammals and reptiles as well as some farm animals (goats, pigs, ducks, chickens...). For an additional fee, you can get up close with your favourite animals. The park offers research and education programs, with visitors able to spend day and night tours.

Just an amazing place, it was a pleasure to spent the whole day with friends there and support the sanctuary. Nice animals, interesting activities, VERY friendly and informative staff. There were very few people around in comparison to the reptile park nearby, so you can enjoy your privacy when interacting with keepers and animals. I would highly recommend this place.

Five Stars for the animal encounters. The wildlife all appear to be well-loved and cared for. We came for the gliders (sugar and squirrel) and weren't disappointed. Planning on returning for another 'speed date'. A little disappointed by the food options. A couple of gourmet sandwich choices with a few home-made salads would have easily trumped the scary deep-fried selections. And I would have thought a dedicated barista (even if only from say 11am to 2pm) and a proper espresso machine would pay for itself in spades? Well worth visiting but beware the complete lack of cafes in the area :-)

This is the most amazing experience. Anyone who comes and complains is totally missing the point. Walkabout is where you have animal encounters, get to learn and view a wide range of animals and reptiles and have a fantastic day with your kids. Amazing bushwalks, Aboriginal Cave Art and plenty of amenities. Don't expect Taronga Zoo, this is not at all commercial and is designed for the animals, not you. They take impeccable care of the animals and their enclosures, when they have one. We have had the best day, and will be back again and again. Thank you to the staff for amazing customer service and an experience my kids and I won't forget.

We stayed overnight in a tent, We recommend the wild night out! Amazing to hold all the animals, rangers are helpful and very friendly, wilder than a zoo. This is a sanctuary, not a zoo and we loved it!!!
