Love the Cairns Esplanade. One of its key highlights is the Northern Activity Precinct. It includes: - Beach Volleyball - Skate Park - 3X3 Basketball court - Boulder Park It also has a beautiful boardwalk and walking and/or running track overlooking the Coral Sea. Has clean amenities (with wheel chair access) and drinking water fountains for our hot and humid days!!

Provided by the Cairns City Council There are four international standard beach volleyball courts at the Northern Esplanade Activity Precinct. The Activity Precinct is located on The Esplanade opposite Cairns Hospital. The beach volleyball courts are open every day and are free for casual use. Wednesday to Monday 9.00am to 9.30pm Tuesday closed until 4.00pm for maintenance then open until 9.30pm Public holidays 9.00am to 9.30pm unless a Tuesday when the courts open at 4.00pm until 9.30pm
