Great Mexican... loved the chicken fajitas. Tacos were delicious and spicy! Nice causal setting with great and friendly service. Oh... and try the margaritas
Friendly service and tasty food. Generous portion sizes on the Mexican Fiesta sharing plate. Food came out fairly quickly. Drink offerings were average. Seating options were somewhat limited outdoors as not all the area is covered when raining. Got to practise our Spanish when ordering! Can recommend a sharing plate with a beer or glass of wine in front of the beach.
The food here is really tasty and the prices are competitive and appropriate. Portions were more than adequate also. Cocktails were excellent and the beer was frosty. One of our waitstaff was phenomenal, engaging and helpful, especially attentive to our daughter which always leaves an awesome impression. The other person who served us was the polar opposite. Wouldn't make eye contact. To the extent that I couldn't even manage to order a second beer despite many attempts. He forgot a main meal we ordered and when we asked for the dessert for our daughter that was forgotten also. Regardless of the above mentioned flaw, we had a lovely meal and enjoyed our experience. Update. Went back for a second time, had the same waiter and a far better experience regarding service and attention to detail.
Food was really good here. Unfortunately the service was so very bad. They managed to completely forget all the drinks we ordered but they were still on the bill. Food took nearly an hour but they were apologetic about that. When we went to pay, they didn't print the bill until we asked for it. Lucky we did as the drinks we never got were on there. I advised them that none of the drinks arrived and she took all but one of them off and reprinted the bill. I pointed this out and she removed this last drink and we finally got a correct bill. Wish I could have left a better review, the food was really amazing but the service really ruined it.
To be honest the quality of the food was reasonable but the service was pretty lousy. I understand that the location is fairly remote and you shouldn't expect a city level of service in a small town/ suburb but even taking that in to consideration the service was not up to standard. The staff seemed to deliberately not look at any of the customers between taking orders and serving food, so if you were trying to catch the servers eye it was nearly impossible. Fajitas never come with enough tortillas in my opinion and maybe I should have ordered extra straight off the bat but I thought I'd wait and see. Sure enough I needed to order 4 more. When I finally got someone's attention to order only 2 eventually arrived. I immediately asked for the extra 2 as previously asked only to wait FOREVER for them. I actually went to the counter (which is pretty well at the kitchen) to chase up the extra 2, only to be told I'd have to wait. Seriously? How hard is it to throw 2 tortillas on a plate? Meanwhile the food was going cold. Eventually went without. Also we would have ordered another 2 margaritas if we'd been able to get someone's attention but it was all too hard I the end. This was a Saturday night but the restaurant was only at half capacity so don't go on a busy night! The owner really needs to train their staff better.
Nothing to rave about,prefer Montezuma s!! Strange service there were only 2 tables ad took ages to take our order, seating too close to delivery trucks parking that leave there motors running for along time. Go to the Greek place down the road,better service ad taste.
The service was terrible. The lady who runs it was very rude and not apologetic at all. They forgot 2 of our meals. Even stuffed up another meal. To be good at hospitality you need good customer service. Something she knows nothing about.. The restaurant cant handle being busy. Lots of other customers looked unhappy too and by some of the other reviews on here we're not the only unhappy customers.
