Our wedding was in 2 days when we landed in Byron Bay. Straight away I was on the hunt for a dry cleaner in town, but simply couldn't find any. I gave up hope and thought we should just press our suits ourselves at our accommodation. When we checked into our accommodation, there was no iron or steamer, thankfully we found Sew Byron. Super last minute and literally one day before our wedding, Leah was so accommodating and quick with her responses. Within 10 minutes of our conversation through SMS, I had the invoice paid and Leah's partner Kris arrived to our accommodation to collect our 3 piece suits. The very next day, both Leah & Kris came to drop off our professionally pressed suits. We couldn't be happier! I'm so glad we didn't lose hope. The suits looked amazing! Both Leah & Kris are the most genuine people. I highly recommend Sew Byron to any couples getting married at Byron Bay! Thank you for making our special day perfect!

Great service from both Denise and Leah. They worked with me to alter my wedding dress. They were both patient and dedicated and I was happy with the outcome. Leah also created some lovely curtains for my kitchen.
Sew liberated is a nice change. Nothing worse than walking into a dingy alterations slash dry cleaning slash slash slash type shop. Sew liberated is bright and vibrant, the work is top quality and they provide excellent customer care. Always a great experience!
Beautiful space and especially lovely ladies that will cater your every sewing needs. Leah went above beyond for me, getting a dress done that I needed immediately! Awesome work Sew Liberated
I have had the pleasure of dealing with the beautiful owner of Sew Liberated for a number of years . Always a pleasant experience. I value your advice on style and recommendations of details eg buttons and trims. Your craftsmanship is perfect . Your bright and friendly temperament and professional attitude are appreciated .. I have recommended you to many of my friends and colleagues and will continue to do so . Thank you
I've known Leah for a number of years now through using her for a range of sewing related jobs. I have always received good advice, and great service from her. She is the only person I'll go to for my alterations. No complaints from me.
Facility was very modern, funky and clean. Unfortunately it cost me 25 to stitch on one button and another 25 to sew up a rip in another shirt that was barely worth what i had payed to fix it!!. I had a brand new dress altered and was happy with what they did with it, although i was shocked at the 75 charged to do so. They took almost 2 weeks to fix one dress and when i got there and tried it on, they had accidentally cut not one, but 2 holes in it :(. They offered to replace my dress and i told them to forget it, as the whole experience was a disaster!!!. I would certainly NOT recommend them to anyone. The alterations lady at Mullum is fairly priced and gets the job done!!.
So rude. Came in to have a dress altered. When I asked what cost I would be looking at to have the required work done my question could not or would not be answered. In addition to this my reasonable enquiry was met with intense attitude and a condescending speech about them being a trade etc. Obviously I am aware I need to pay for the service, however I would have assumed that as a business they have the ability to give their customers an idea of the price they are looking at before they hand over a garment and are locked into an amount when trying to collect it. One employee then told the other (I'm assuming the owner) to take the pins out of my garment. Then I was told basically good luck going somewhere else as they were the only people in town. Would rather wear no clothes than deal with this insanity. Highly DO NOT recommend.
