Super friendly staff. We had a guy called Matt who was so helpful. We had questions and he gave us advice. He was aware of our timeframe and knowledgeable about the upcoming weather. And we booked whale watching for this week. I highly recommend going here if you have never been to Byron Bay and get a good overview of the things to do in Byron Bay.

This was the best thing that happened to me on my trip! Me and my cousin got talking to Harry Payton on the street of Byron bay and then we ended up in Happy Travels booking an amazing camping trip to Fraser Island. We had an awesome time on the trip. We even got to hang out with our new friend Harry after work. Thanks for such a great time in Australia, I give you all the credit for making it as good as it was Harry! You set us up with a calendar plan in 10 minutes and we stuck to it for the rest of our trip and it turned out great! I cant wait to come back to Byron bay and pick a new adventure!
I booked my complete east cost trip with Luke from happy travels today. I have a great trip ahead of me that I got for a great price. I am very grateful to Luke for his professional advice. He was always politely funny and could answer all of my questions. He also gave me many personal recommendations for hostles, etc. I would book my trip again with Luke.
We went inside looking for a map of Australia, and came out with 3 booked trips and a plan for our road trip. Amazing experience! We didn’t really realize that a lot of the popular trips (Fraser island, Whitsunday etc) could be full booked a long time before the departure date. Now being backpackers from Denmark, we really wanted to see all of these things. But luckily for us Conor was an absolute legend! He made some calls and with him being awesome and us being extremely lucky that day, we were able to get tickets to Fraser Island and the Whitsundays, on the exact day we wanted to. He also helped us make our road trip plan, so we can make the most out of our trip to Australia as possible. We had already booked a diving trip to the Great Barrier Reef through another company, who had also booked our flights. They made a mistake and booked a flight for us less then 24 hours after our last dive (the diving place says you have to wait 24 hours before flying). We didn’t really think about it, but luckily for us Conor was observant and called to check if it was okay for us to be flying so soon after, which it was not. So we really wanna thank Conor for being so awesome and for helping us plan this amazing trip
Hadn't booked with Happy Travels before and came in after I got approached by one of the staff members on the street (which can sometimes be very annoying for backpackers) but he was respectful and not too pushy which made me more relaxed, I actually had time to consider and think it through without being pushed to buy anything. He then personalized a tour for me which fitted in our very tight schedule. He was available for me after office hours and made the tour exactly the way we wanted it. Overall very pleased with service and the products. Huge shout out to Conor, you did amazing mate!
