I bought the SOLAR GENERATOR KIT iTECH500 POWER STATION 140W SOLAR BLANKET KIT SOLAR ADAPTER a few days ago. Today I thought I am going to test the solar charging of the ITECH500, weather is bright sunshine, I setup the panels 90 deg to the sun, best possible position, started at 77% capacity, charging power was 75W max (should be 140W), after some research one can buy the same solar panels they use even with the nice handle and and bag at Aliexpress, however they are rated 80 W power which makes much more sense, I guess those panels never delivered anyway close to 140W ever, would be nice to read some other customers reviews about this here. They are just too small for 140W. I brought the system back and ask for refund which I got, I asked again for explanation for the 75 W issues but nobody was taking to me about it even after another request. Reply to the owners reply.13/4/21 First of all I would like to see the NATA test report and a reading of close to 140W output. If you can provide this I am more than happy to delete this review. Second I have done some basic calculation, based on a state-of-the-art solar panel around 1.1-1.3 m2 (see picture) are required to get 140W output, yes all those numbers depending on the testing conditions. But the real area of the this panel is around 0.65 m2 which is about correct for 75W ish, this is what I got- HALF OF WHAT THEY CLAIMING. Now saying that the display is not calibrated is nonsense to- to calculate the power is straightforward just multiply Voltage with Current. This is a wrong advertisement. Also one word to customer service , shocking I needed to call around 50 times until I got someone on the phone. I could go on with false claims like 8% fuel saving when using one of their batteries, this is completely wrong and should be not allowed. But nobody cares obviously. BTW did nobody wondered so far that all the reviews in here are either 5 stars of 1 stars nothing in between- this is against all statistics.

I purchased the 100ah slimline lithium battery & 2x 25ah dcdc chargers and battery monitor. Edit 2: After noticing the replacement battery charge time was only charging at 12-14ah (using the battery monitor), I took the chargers to an auto sparky to test the charge rate. Both chargers only putting out between 12-14ah maximum, not good! I still haven’t heard back from my email inquiry and it’s impossible to get through on the phone lines. I ended up purchasing a different brand charger for the meantime (as I had an extended off grid holiday planned)and instantly I’m getting 25ah charging rate. Is this false advertising or just terrible quality faulty products??? Edit: Changed to 3 stars. After posting review the company contacted me with the offer of a replacement. Will continue to update review if anymore faults arise. Communication and customer service skills can definitely be improved upon. On first full discharge (2 weeks after purchase) the battery cut out early and needed returned. On return I was told 2 days for assessment, 1 week later and after many calls and time spent on call waiting I finally got through to technical support to be told that it did indeed have a fault. Rather than replace (as in my opinion it was DOA) they opted to repair and I was told be patient for another 2 days. Another week later and I still haven’t heard a thing other than they are sorry and excuses like all their technicians have called in sick, with promises of call backs that don’t ever happen.
Thanks Ian for your response, your products look & work great. I have only tried with at home so far, looking forward to test them over the Easter holidays. Quick delivery from WA was great, I was expecting maybe 3-4 weeks. Keep up the good work. I only give it 4 stars, because i haven't done a long test on products yet, but I am sure there well no problem. Shaun
What kind and generous people to deal with! I bought a jump starter pack on special in February and obviously kept it in my car. Last night some low life broke into it (while parked in my carport) and stole the pack! When calling in at Tech world today and explaining the situation they very kindly let me purchase another unit at the same price as in February, which is almost half of the usual amount! Have been using a 120 AH lithium battery in my camper for over a year now Running 2 x engels fridges lights & charging things it was always back to 100% by 10am. So l didn't hesitate when we bought our new Bushtracker van to replace the 4 x AGM's with the itech world 120 lithiums. Running the 250ltr compressor fridge freezer, washing machine , aircon, but most important the COFFEE machine all though the 3000 w inverter they handle it all with ease. Also with a weight saving of 100 kg .. ( the AGM.s where 36kgs each ) The customer service was amazing when setting it all up, The crew at itech world would answer all my questions & queries in a flash, hard to get that in a lot of businesses these days! I recently purchased and paid for two 120x batteries from iTechworld. A few days later I found out that the price had been further discounted. I contacted them they agreed to refund the discounted amount to me which was very much appreciated. The company was a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for batteries. It is increasingly rare these days to come across companies with integrity.
