An important cultural center in the Hills. Supports local as well as national artists and performers. Frequently exhibits Australian Aboriginal arts. Very nice cafe with live music. Workshops for the kids. Great place!

One of the best arts centre in Victoria if not Australia. Never a dull moment. If you are into the arts and live entertainment. Check this place out

Having been to several of the theatrical productions at Burrinja in the past year and enjoying them ALL I would highly recommend paying Burrinja a visit! Last years Frankenstein was an absolute triumph in terms of acting talent and top production values - totally engaging and terrifying. I often drop by on the weekend to enjoy the exhibitions in the main gallery - the Secret Ingiets collection on at the moment is so interesting, a real insight into a forgotten world. Thanks Burrinja for the great experiences!

I love visiting Burrinja. Wonderful space for artists to exhibit. Love that there are artists in residence too. Pleasant surroundings, good cafe. A place well worth visiting.

For music to be fully enjoyed by an audience their is a key ingredient that needs massive attention by this management. Last night we were once again subjected to the most amateurish of sound level bungling when we attended the Bob Dylan show. Most of the first 20 minutes or more was delivered as a mush of noise. Sound levels were all over the place with the acoustic guitar drowning out any comprehension of an audible voice. While the sound levels and clarity improved dramatically as the show progressed there continued to be annoying times when the acoustic guitar would disappear from the ear and then a violin making the most amazing sounds just twice as loud as anything else on the stage including the singer. Woeful, and leaves a bad taste that a professional show like this could be undermined so successfully. Please lift your act!!! or risk losing even your dedicated audience.
