When we arrived at 1315 the door was locked and a sign stated that they would be back in 2hrs which is very disappointing. Especially as we only had a few hours to visit and didn't have time to wait for someone to come back.

Service was fantastic and very welcoming. The lady was full of information about the town. Showed us explained everything to do with the pasport key. Best part was you can take your time and visit the sites at your own leisure. The Information centre was nice and clean and easy to find.

Great information centre. With lots of literature. Excellent dedicated staff, very friendly and helpful, who have a lot of local knowledge of the area. The local drive and heritage walk has been compiled in a book "Discovering historic Bura book accompanying with passport key" has all the fine details of the route and basic history of the places. There is a small fees which covers the cost of the book and entrance fees to different places. I think it is a brilliant idea and worth the effort compiling and for the end user also.

Everytime I travel around South Australia, I learn something about the history of the land down under. Burra is a must visit historical city and the lady in the information office was amazing. She gave us all the information we need to explore the city, make sure you visit the information office first when you arrive to get the key you need to be able to enter all the sites.
