West Ballina, Australia

Easy to use. Wait for the boom gate to go up, oncoming vehicles alight, you drive on. Put car in park, hand brake. Enjoy the 4 minute scenic ride. Wait for the ferry to stop, boom gate goes up. You drive off useful tip. Turn your lights off at night, it makes it easier for the Ferryman to see where he's going. The Ferryman only takes card. No cash. If you intend to use the service regularly you can go to the Ballina council and purchase a multi pass. Enjoy. It's a nice journey and be sure to wave to the friendly Ferryman

Easy access both ends. Good view of river.
Great service and runs long hours. Reasonably priced considering how long it would take to go the only other way round through Wardell. Quick crossing of a quite wide stretch of the Richmond River.
10pm trip across the river with a chance to have a great yarn with a local both on the trip across and back again.
It's too expensive it takes too long
Good service.
