Highly recommend Dr. Ibrahim at this facility. My check was closely examined and not rushed, information thoroughly explained, and I felt genuinely cared for. The service i received by this doctor was second to none. Would give more stars if i could!

I had an appointment with Dr Van Nguyen where i turned up on time only to find out he wasn't even there and the receptionist had to text him to let him know i was there. I was obviously an inconvenience for him. Then to proceed with the unprofessional skin check where all i received was notice of how much things would cost to remove. It was more a money making exercise than anything else. I did require a sample to get tested and again was told this would be extra. I will never return to this clinic.

To the Practice Manager (Burleigh Heads) I’d like to take this opportunity to thank your team for the incredible service and care that was provided to me today. Starting with the amazing welcome from the receptionist staff, I dealt with Ally she welcomed me with a friendly smile, was very professional and advised me where to sit and Dr Harry would not be long. While I was sat in the waiting area I witnessed the practice nurse acknowledging everyone saying hello including myself while looking for her next patient was very friendly and welcoming. I saw Dr Harry (apologies I don’t have his last name) He was very confident in the way he was talking about my skin which totally put me at ease and asked me at least 3 times if I had any concerns with anything on my skin etc. I was lucky that I had nothing showing as abnormal and he was happy to see me again in 12 months. I would highly recommend this practice especially as they are dedicated just for skin checks & treatment if required. My advice for anyone reading this:- Book yourself in and get yours checked ASAP

Since this clinic has changed to SunDoctors Skin Cancer Clinics, the service and professionalism has exceeded expectations. The doctors are highly experienced and knowledgeable, the clinic looks new and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a skin cancer removed here last week without any problems. Now that the previous doctors have left, I would highly recommend everyone coming here for a skin check. Very happy

If I could rate zero stars I would. Dr. Nguyen was supposed to conduct a skin check on me. I have had many many skin checks before, his lack of care was extremely apparent as he barely checked any of my moles, which I am covered in. (Around 500?) I told him I have had skin cancers removed before (melanoma) and he didn't believe me, instead he belittled me, made jokes about my scars and told me im too young to have had skin cancer. Wow. Dr. Nguyen was extremely unprofessional in every way imaginable, this probably explains why he made myself and my partner turn our phones completely off before entering his office. One video recorded consultation would shut this place down.

Had an appointment with Dr Van Nguyen. He was rude and to told me things such as 'surf at night' and 'just don't go into the sun', instead of getting checked once every year. He said to get checked every 5 years even though I am in the sun a lot and would rather be safe then sorry. He also acted as if it was an inconvenience and a waste of time for him to check my skin. At the end as I walked out the door he said he would see me in 5 years. I will definitely not be returning to him.

I had an appointment with Dr Atia on Monday which I booked 6 months ago. As I did not receive a confirmation text I tried calling at 8.30 but no answer. I managed to get through whilst on my way. No record of my booking, Dr Atia had departed a week before and my appt was wiped without notification. Receptionist would not tell me where he went - as instructed by peers. I was offered to see another Doctor but declined due to past experience with Dr Maria... Dr Atia can be found through a Google search and is now at Mermaid Waters. Happy to follow him. The unprofessional way in which the new Practice operates is very concerning for anyone who takes their health seriously. An example of how their profits and retaining Dr Atia's patients was put before my needs. Lift your game SunDoctors, we are not pawns in your game, we are people with real needs and expect a level of professionalism!

I agree with the other reviews regarding Dr Nguyen. We got tricked into paying extra for the 'special' camera technology which only he uses. Just to find out this is just his iphone with camera attached. The service was rushed and not thorough, which is not what you want from a skin check. Please if you are considering this doctor LOOK ELSEWHERE!
