These guys can cook up a storm.

They seem to think they own the weather all to themselves, very rude unprofessional to bag out another weather group, least we get the weather right unlike you. Flash floods in Hobart 'no warning " winds over 100km/h no warning..they tend to post warnings after the events happened.
I've been alive forty years and never a day without weather. I only wish other government departments had such results. Keep up the good work.
Nice pmace
I love it when the Bureau of Meteorology predicts the weather. First, they are a Bureau, which sounds very official, but it also reminds me of one of those old wooden desks which gives their name an old world charm. Next, they are all about Meteorology which means looking around and thinking about what might happen in the sky. Sometimes I look up and wonder what might happen, but usually I can't out-guess the Mighty Bureau of Meteorology, as they have all sorts of measurements and modelling algorithms on their side which gives them a kind of super power versus my ability to guess. Metaphorically the Bureau's predictive powers are like Superman (with unknown variables being a kind of Kryptonite) and my powers are like some crook with a fake gun carved out of an old potato trying to rob a magazine stand in broad daylight, but I am sick too, with a bad cough so the magazine stand owner cannot even understand me, and Superman feels so sorry for me he sends me to a farm to regain my health and get in tune with my feelings rather than tossing me in jail.
I get frustrated when you look outside and it is raining cats n dogs. BOM states 20%chance of rain. Temperature 10 degrees, feels like 7. Where does the feel like originate?. Apparently they are changing definitions as well as other things.
Beautiful views
Great place to visit. We went during the wooden boat festival. Fantastic. So many beautiful, amazing boats
