Still baking the best cakes and baked goods since we first arrived on the Gold Coast over 30 years ago. The vanilla sponge I ordered for my mum's 80th birthday was absolutely amazing; it was beautifully decorated and baked to perfection - the price was so reasonable. I also ordered a pavlova roll for Christmas and it too was delicious. We had to fight for leftovers. Cannot recommend the quality and service highly enough.

This place is an absolute gem. The quiches are perfect and the cakes just such great value for money. Great staff too. If it wasn’t for my ever expanding waistline I’d be there every day.

I bought a plum pudding for Xmas...at the time I thought it was quite expensive but I was happy to support a local business.... It truly was a fabulous pudding,worth the money...it was full of fruit,moist & had a lovely taste...it was rich so it went a long way... Everyone commented on how good it was & I will certainly be back next year for another one...don’t bother making your own,these are just as nice... Well done to the management...

Small bakery but good choice of pastries. I tried the apple 'donut' which was good. Was very tempted by the scrolls, danish and huge donut on the counter. Will definitely stop by again.

Can’t get over how good their bread is. Sourdough or the ciabatta. Its soo good you can just eat it out of the bad plain. It’s the best I’ve had on the Gold Coast.

Excellent service!! I organised a cake for my husband's birthday over the phone from Victoria 2 days before we needed it. Could not have been easier or friendlier. Arrived in Qld & picked up the cake - beautifully made, exactly as I'd described it - with a few flourishes of their own - and tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend Horners, even when you're staying in Qld for a holiday, as you can take the cake to the restaurant of your choice. Super friendly staff & excellent rates. I bought a black forest cake for my hubby Neville which I picked up yesterday for his birthday...the cake was sooo yummy and looked great..people really enjoyed it..I think I spoke to Rob the day I ordered..lovley gentlemen and great service! Highly recommend

Been a Customer of Horner's Bakery for as long as I can care to remember and have never been disappointed. The Pav, (and everything else) is a favourite with us and our friends and is the perfect take along to a dinner party if you want to rain on everyone else's parade. Not only is the Bakery outstanding the service is as good. When a Pav was not ready when I arrived early the owner (Rob Horner) offered to delivery it from all the way across town. Warning... if you enter you will be addicted. Thanks Rob and happy Australia Day
