The director Meng Tuena took me on as a Piano Teacher, clearly advising me she would pay me 42 per hour and "even more later on". I provided 6 piano lessons for her, to only have her turn around and say that the rate is only 17 per hour.

@Mary Jakovac, lol you are cooked mate, for new teachers there is a raise after 3 months, also you taught 30 minute lessons why do you expect to get paid for an hour? I've been working with Meng for 2 years, always got paid promptly.

Meng accompanied me for my cello AMEB exam. She could play her parts highly accurately and musically at short notice and accompanies with excellent sensitivity and musicality. She was a very supportive and encouraging accompanist.
Meng is an excellent pianist and accompanist, having heard her play and been in duet with her at the Conservatorium of Melbourne University for three years. I would highly recommend her as a piano and theory teacher as well as an accompanist due to her extensive experience in all these fields.
Meng has been my son's piano teacher for almost four years. Her passion for music is encapsulated in her weekly lessons, that motivated my son to strive for perfection！We have also become close friends over the years. My younger bother has also started to learn piano from Meng this year. I observed the difference in style of teaching that Meng apply to him from that to my son, as he's much more patient and mature. My family are so grateful to know Meng, and to continue enjoying the beauty of music with her.
