I had my hair and makeup done by the wonderful Lainie at the Makeup HQ studio last week, and was absolutely happy with the service. Lainie has an ease about her, and I appreciated her attention to detail when it came to my face shape and colour. Would happily go again and I most definitely recommend their services!

I highly recommend MakeupHQ studio. Sara Morrison is an amazing educator. I did some makeup classes via zoom during Melbourne's COVID-19 lockdown which inspired me to do the 4 day Intensive Beginning/Intermediate makeup course. Sara goes out of her way to teach you the correct techniques to achieve beautiful makeup. I am so glad I chose Makeup HQ to learn about makeup and makeup artistry! I am so grateful! The makeup courses offered by Sara have given me the confidence to refine my makeup technique and to confidently persue my journey as a makeup artist. Highly recommend!
Sara is an amazing and gifted makeup artist and trainer. She runs a beautiful and clean space to teach all things makeup. She is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable.
In April 2018 I attended a 1 night “how to” class with my sister in law. The night was fun and exciting (filled with cheese and wine) and sparked what I’ve always known I loved. Making people feel beautiful through the use of makeup. Over the next year I stayed in touch with Sara Morrison at Makeup HQ. We spoke about what my goals were and Sara really encouraged me to believe in myself and that it was never too late to start a career in the makeup industry. In 2019 I finally built up the courage and began my 10 week course. I was not disappointed. Sara gave us insight into the industry and allowed us the opportunity to meet with other amazing trainers and well known artists. I have met some incredible women and struck up friendships that I admire, including Sara Morrison herself. She encouraged our strengths and nurtured our passions. Thank you Sara
Sara is a phenomenal makeup artist. I would recommend her to anyone who is seeking a professional to make them look beautiful for any occasion. Sara did an amazing job on my makeover. The contouring was unbelievable and at the end of a long night of dancing it still looked flawless! Sara words can not express how appreciative and grateful i am to have once again been taught by you. Your one on one class in intensive 3 day airbrushing course has given me skills of industry level with techniques that only an experienced mentor can provide with in-depth knowledge. Your joy and passion for teaching others brings an energy to makeup artists and makeup artist to be, to feel encouraged, supported and appreciated. Your studio atmosphere is creative and fun. You are always there to advise and give feedback when asked by the student and as a student i have walked away with knowledge that no one else has given to me in the past. For this i thank you sincerely. You are not just a teacher, makeup artist but a friend in the industry that i am proud to continue learning from.
