I rescued a baby bird, perfectly healthy nothing broken she was just lost from her parents, hand it off to wires and a couple of days later i was told they put her down. I was in absolute shock as she was perfectly healthy! Please don’t take rescued animals to them they will kill them healty or not! Unfortunately i read their reviews after the fact and as I’ve learned there are so many people who went through the same horror with this so called “rescue” agency! Please everyone find a vet which specifically doesn’t have to report to them, it’s the only way to truly save their lives!

Quick response, got clear instructions what to do with a baby possum. The animal was safely delivered to the nearest vet as was instructed by the WIRES operator.

We were very impressed by the help & care of Wires last week. We found a baby Kestrel in our yard which was unable to fly out of a large empty garden pot. A very knowledgeable lady from Wires arrived within 15 minutes of calling them & safely took him away. The lady carer has kept us up-to-date on his progress & sent us a photo of him being released yesterday over Newport beach. Top marks to Wires Joan Bungan beach

We called WIRES to help with a sick possum trapped in a wall cavity in a Paddington terrace. Within an hour their officer was there who managed to manipulate a fiercely resisting female possum out of the hole we had cut in the wall and take it to safety. This was a huge relief for us. Could not have had a better outcome. Well done and thank you WIRES

Our neighbour had a fruit bat caught in a tree. We called WIRES for help. They were great!! A lovely volunteer came out and freed the bat safely. Then helped my neighbour with different options to protect her fruit trees. Totally recommend calling WIRES for help with wildlife.

We rescued this duckling last night. Even on Christmas day , volunteer Molly came out within couple of hours from a phone call to wires. She was great she transfered it in good care to a lady who looks after duckies frequently. At least Melvin Cracker has a lil brother now and is in good care now. Thanks Team
