I didn't get as far as using their services after requesting a quote from them (all details of what I required were given, and I had been keen to work with them based on the funny, friendly feels of their website). The reply email said "I would suggest you share with us your budget expectation and we'll see if we have a solution to meet your budget." It may not have been a pretentious intention but that's certainly how the email read, and I passed that thought on. To their credit they did apologise (but also kind of condescendingly referred me to a more generic company). I don't really think there's any need or place for packaging company snobbery (especially in this climate, but maybe business is still good for them and they're not bothered?...). Personally and professionally I don't deal with that kind of energy regardless of how high my budget is, but, as I said, I haven't actually used their services so can't comment on the other aspects of their business.
