This was once a beautiful restaurant but in the last year or 2 it has sadly changed. Now you could possibly enjoy a beer by the beach but I would not recommend eating here. All main Western meals came with "steamed vegetables"...direct out of a packet of microwave frozen vegetables. The "medium rare" steak would probably bounce if you threw it, but enjoyable if you like chewing an old bicycle tyre. As you can tell I didn't attempt to eat my steak dinner and they, very nicely, didnt charge me for it and proceeded to ask if I wanted anything else, "maybe some toast?" It might be a great spot for a weekend burger at the beach, but I would suggest avoiding for an actual meal
We ordered roast duck pancake and grilled steak. I haven't had such a sumptuous dinner in a long long time. The food was reasonably priced. The staff were extremely polite which you don't get to see much these days. The drinks arrived on time and so did the main course. We had a great time at a restaurant after a long time. Highly recommended.

FOOD: Very ordinary. Burgers with very basic (and small quantity) dressings - onions, tomato, lettecue and plastic cheese. Dumplings are the frozen types that have been quickly fried after heated up in the microwave (pastry gets rubbery when it starts to cool). Veggie wrap - same as burgers just without the patty... LOCATION: Great. Hence the 3 stars.
Great food, good service, fantastic location near the beach. Easy to & from get to by public transport, and a great spot for a few quiet beverages in the afternoon. Highly recommend!
Brilliant service! Always very fast with my meals and polite staff. Always stop in here on business trips up from Melbourne. Highly recommend!
Great place to hang out any time of day, any day of the week. Cool atmosphere, great salmon , interestingly furnished.
