Ben and team supplied the catering service for our recent wedding at Adams Peak Country Estate in Broke. The professionalism, attention to detail, quality and service they provided was exceptional from start to finish. The comments we received from our guests regarding how amazing the food was and how no one was left hungry was definitely what we wanted our guests to have and Monkey Place did just that. We would definitely be using and recommending Ben and team again should we need any catering services in the Hunter Valley region.

I can not recommend Monkey Place Catering more highly. When I found myself without a caterer for a 50 person sit down dinner when everyone was booked out for wedding season, Ben went out of his way to fit us in (even though the venue was 2 hours away!). I was nervous because I didn't get a chance to trial the food beforehand, but it did not disappoint! The Chef's choice canapes were all perfect and the presentation of all of the meals so sophisticated. The absolute standout was the braised beef cheeks (I'm still dreaming about them). The crew went out of their way to ensure every detail was taken care of and Ben was so helpful with his experience and guidance - he completely understood what I was looking for (even if I wasn't sure myself!). Thank you Ben and the team at Monkey Place Catering - you made it such a special night! Can't wait to go to another party catered by you guys!
5 star food quality, 5 star service, 5 star EVERYTHING! What more could you ask for! I highly recommend Monkey Place Catering for any catering needs while in the Hunter Valley. Such a pity they don't service North Sydney otherwise I'd have them on speed dial for all my corporate needs. Thank you Ben and Jaclyn!
Absolutely perfect. Hired for an intimate 60th at a holiday home and couldn't have been better. Food was incredible, service was friendly and efficient without being at all invasive. Possibly the best lamb I've ever tasted. Even made a special request for a somewhat niche dessert (a coffee cake) and it blew us all away. Would 10/10 recommend, Monkey Place turned our home in to a Michelin Star restaurant for the night.
Kia I wanted to thank you and your team for knocking it out of the park for our wedding. You went far beyond expectations to make our dream day a reality. With all the uncertainty and restrictions in place because of Covid19, Ben took it upon himself to really think outside the box and cater for our day. Even a last minute late night call for a mixer for the cake didn't stop him from helping us. Please thank your team from both of us, they were amazing and we cannot wait to come try your food again, best chef in town!
Outstanding! From the moment Jace and her team arrived we knew we were going to be well looked after. The attention to detail and service was friendly and professional and the food was lovely and plentiful - it made for a very enjoyable evening.
Monkey Place Catering were the catering vendors that came with our wedding venue, Calvin Estate. The whole process was seamless and they went above and beyond for us. The tasting was great as it enabled us to sample what we were providing our guests. On the day, there were only wonderful things said about the food and not to mention everyone LOVED the doughnuts! Thank you Ben, you were fantastic to work with and the food was out of this world.
