I built with Porter Davis, they use Telbix LED downlight(8 watt 240VAC 3000k), these lights don't last. In 1 year time, over 5 lights were replaced

Anyone purchasing lighting from this company should check the quality of LED lighting they are selling and installing in New Homes, as they don't last and also I have been told they no longer manufacture LED GU10, 8 Watt Globes. These Globes are now obsolete and to replace them you have to purchase LED GU10, 7 Watt Globes. Replacing LED GU10, 8 Watt globes with LED GU10, 7 Watt, the brightness of the Globes is different thus making your new house look terrible with the different brightness. I have contacted Telbix lighing on Wednesday 17th October 2018 and spoke with Nadia who advised me that someone would get back to me. I hadn't heard anything by Monday 22nd October 2018, so I called again and spoke with another Staff Member who also advised me that someone would call me re my problem. To date I still have not heard and I find this is appalling. All these Companies are interested in is taking your money for products fitted to your New Home and then not honouring their product or workmanship. I have had LED GU 10 Globes fitted to a Holiday home in Metung, Victoria and in 10 years have only replaced 3 Globes. So the quality of LED GU 10, 8 Watt Globes that have been supplied to my New Home are obviously Cheap and Nasty and not made to last. I am also concerned that the Transformers for these Globes that have been fitted are also Cheap and Nasty and could cause some Fault and maybe a fire. I will get an Inspection from Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade if necessary.
