WITADA is a contemporary, participatory, web-based Think Tank. We aim to promote discussion about critical social issues in the hope of achieving meaningful and sustainable change to the way we live together. WITADA is an acronym for What I Think And Dream About. We are passionate about social change and the possibilities to create a more peaceful world and we believe that social problems can be solved if there is the understanding, combined with the political and social will to achieve change. We aim to gain a deeper understanding of social processes, particularly those dynamics that prevent change from occurring, so that we can develop new ways of approaching social change. We also believe that no one person has the answers to these complex questions and therefore we aim to promote discussion and dialogue as well as actions and strategies that we can all participate in, regardless of our education, experience or perspective. If you are serious about creating a more peaceful and equitable world, your input here will be welcomed and valued. Over the coming months and years we will expand WITADA to include a Discussion Forum, Research Centre and Publishing House focusing on social change. It is our aim to ensure that researchers and writers all over the world have a place to join together to discuss ideas, receive and offer mentoring to each other and find a place where their publications will be encouraged and promoted.
