Fabulous range of German beers and foods. The service was friendly, timely and helpful. The venue was quaint with a warm atmosphere with the choice of dining both inside and outside and a designated smoking area. Whilst they only had a single vegan main option, alot of the sides were vegan and they made a vegan pretzel especially for our dinning group (which was fantastic). The amenities were clean and tidy and satisfactory.

The food on arrival is a wow factor. Enormous sizes. We tried the pretzels too. O-M-G you could eat them forever. The premises are somewhat tired, and it would have been nice to have a little entertainment on a Saturday night. But honestly, you go there fore the food and company. Recommend

Do you like Beer? Do you like hearty filling meals? Are you possibly German? Well look no further, the German club has all of the former and more. Great selections of beer, food and beer. What more could you want? On a side note, if there’s a band playing in the main hall, might I suggest earplugs... extremely loud. I carry earplugs with me every time I go out... weird I know however I work in a high noise industry and need to protect my ears at all costs. So might I suggest you do the same.

Never been to a German club/restaurant so I have nothing to compare this place to or know if they serve really authentic German food and dessert. Regardless, we had a blast there with my boyfriend a few other friends. On our arrival, the guy at the front door asked us to sign in as we were not members. When we went in we ordered a pretzel which was really delicious. It was a bit sweet and salty. Crispy but also chewy. It was a nice treat prior to dinner. I ordered one of their sausages (excuse me but it was a while back and I do not remember what it was exactly) and my boyfriend ordered their chicken schnitzel. The sausage was so good, juicy and a bit sweet to the taste; the schnitzel was crispy and tender on the inside. A few people at my table had their famous pork knuckle, which was enormous and one person can barely finish it all by themselves. We then ordered a slice of their cheesecake and it was out of this planet. In general, I enjoyed the whole experience but the atmosphere was not for me, as there was music blaring in the background loudly and too noisy to have a conversation.

Food is always sensational, but the bar service was sadly ordinary at best on this visit.

No nonsense surroundings for people who love great beer and the romance if home style German fare! Go the pork knuckle! Oh, and bring people you like... That adds to the atmosphere.

This place never came into the 21st century, and it smells like it. The food is very average at best. No vegetarian options. There's probably 1 or 2 on the menu but nothing worth eating. Really disappointing in this day and age. Only good if you're really, really, REALLY into imported beer.
