There's only two ramen place that we can eat in the heart of BNE. I prefer this ramen place. Yes it's a little expensive compare to others but hey where in city. What surprises me is the broth and it's flavours, it's so rich and comforting, the balance of saltiness is perfect to my tasting as well as to my friends. Cheese gyoza: it's salty, crispy and meaty. I love it's texture and it's taste. Cold Tofu: prolly my favorite add-on dish, it's not just a Tofu where you can buy in supermarket. Red Tonkotsu Ramen and Shoyu Ramen: they deliver different broth base, the common thing about them is it's comforting and rich. Not too salty. We have to order another bowl of shoyu ramen and extra noodles because it was that good.

Ramen! Ramen! Ramen! MMM... Who dosen't like a hot bowl of Ramen on a cold and windy afternoon. Tara is still the best Ramen place in Brisbane. Of course I would love to see more Ramen open in Brisbane. Competitions are always welcome and good for us foodies. However, the consistency on food quality and super friendly service are the key reason why I'm keep coming back week after week. People often say ramen is expensive since you can get a pack of instant noodle and cook at home. But wait wait the mintue!!! Do those people have taste buds. A bowl of Ramen is a work of arts, first it take careful selection of ingredients, super long time to prepare and cook. It is a like a marathon in the kitchen to cook a bowl of Ramen. Overall, thank you Taro. Your ramen is not only delicious but also keep my heart and body warm all day long.

Best ramen in brissy, hands down. Ramen lovers know it's all about the broth. And the broth here is legit. Cannot fault the place at all.

Excellent ramen with different varieties. We came here at 11:40am and there was just 1 other person; 30 mins later and there was a queue, so try to come here early if you wanna avoid the lines and get yourself a table. The ramen itself is on the expensive side (15.80) but you do get a lot in return. My shoyu ramen had 3 slices of chasiu pork and maybe 4 slices of chicken as well as half an egg & seaweed. The broth was rich but not too salty. The chicken karage however was average. Will come back to try other flavours.

Just. Wonderful. Pork tonkotsu was creamy and salty and delicious. Noodles firm and chewy but gave way to the tooth. Pork chashu may as well have been barely steeped in the broth itself, wonderfully tender. Perfection. Will be coming back for the foreseeable future.

Taro's is the go to Ramen option in Brisbane for my friends and I. The quality of food is consistent and I honestly believe it's the best option for authentic Ramen in the region. Bonus is that there is a small number of restaurants in the inner brisbane area to choose from.

Hands down the best ramen place in Brisbane. Nothing else comes close to how wonderful and amazing this place. Not only is the food top notch, the service is also equally as good. I will definitely be coming back.

I had a large pork bone ramen. The broth was nice, if a bit rich. Noodles are a but under cooked. Missing is the self serve side dishes they used to have, have to ask server for some. I also thought it was a bit expensive.
