My son was well looked after from the moment we arrived. He was made to feel at ease when going for his tonsillectomy by the everyone involved. The lovely nurses on B floor couldn't do enough for us. The food was quite yummy as well.

I was a recent patient at this hospital for orthopaedic surgery. The staff at admissions were so lovely and the process was wonderful and smooth. Once on the ward the nurse looking after me (Sarda) unpacked my belongings due to be being wobbly on my legs which was a very nice gesture. My surgery was for early Saturday after being admitted on the day before. Anxiety levels were pretty high and was accorded the most professional of treatments. The theatre staff were super kind knowing I was anxious. Surgery went to plan..a bit longer than first thought and the recovery team were terrific. I had a wonderful rotation of nurses, and they were so kind, listened to my needs and acted accordingly. The diet monitors who assisted to my dietary needs were most obliging (Melissa in particular) and the chef (Philipé) prepared one off 5 star food for me and went to no end of trouble to accomodate my needs. The only downfall Is offering the cup of tea trolley before the nightly meal. Many patients were looking for this supper after the meal was delivered...something small but it did tie up the nurses making tea well into the night. This was my 30 admission and I have to say it was the very best of care from all departments that I dealt with. Thank you all so very much for the great care afforded me. 5 stars to the hospital on this admission and stay. Cheers and many thanks Therese D36

Although the care was adequate, this is not a private hospital, more like a public hospital with carpet. No private facilities that you would expect & it's really shabby. Was treated like a burden & stared at by a nurse named "Lovely" (that is anything but) when my poor baby became very distressed. Did have some great nurses on the ward but honestly can't believe it's a private hospital.

While day surgery is the most questionable of humblebrags; my day-patient experience at the Brisbane Private Hospital exceeded expectations. From reception to theatre and through to recovery, the nursing staff were genuine, caring, and good-humoured. The post-operation sandwich was also memorable...or perhaps modern medicines are just that good. Special mention also to my Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Tim McMeniman and the professionalism of his colleagues - should you ever find yourself under a Toyota Prado, I highly recommend calling his office.

Nurses Kasey and Ash were super helpful and friendly during my overnight stay. Understanding and kind, no request (or many requests) was too much for either of them!

My son had surgery recently and the staff from start to finish were exemplary! In particular Mick from B Floor was the EN who was simply outstanding. Everyone was efficient, calm and caring . Their knowledge and professionalism was so comforting for a mother and patient. Well done Brisbane Private !
