Very underwhelming from start to finish. Expected the service to be exceptional but the first thing the waiter said was you need to be out of here at X time, no introduction or anything. Then I asked if our order would be enough for 3 people which he said it would be but then 30 seconds later tried to upsell us more food saying we didn't order enough entrees? Whatever as long as the food is good right? Spend 150 on a tomahawk steak medium rare as per their recommendation and it was way too rare, so chewy with lots of silver skin and not rendered fat. The sides were average and couldn't save the meal. I was ready to tell them about it but no one asked if we enjoyed the meal at any stage. Honestly could of gone to any basic pub and gotten a more satisfying steak and friendlier service. Cant believe we paid 250 to eat sub par food by people that don't care.

The food was great however if the service isn't great it really doesn't really work. The same is true if the service is great but the food is average. First time in in Brisbane in 20 years. Without my wife. Seated immediately superb food spectacular service. I'm back in Brisbane next month.....you better believe I'm eating here on the first night

Went to dinner here on the 16/01/2020. Our friends and i had high expectations of a good night out with out the children. I must say it started off well, atmosphere was great beautifully presented dining area. After we had been seated and once our waiter (Marco) came to speak to us things went down hill. We found him very rude and abrupt. He was leaning on top of us reaching across the table he spilled a drink and at one point when serving the bread rolls ( from the other side of the table) he dropped the bread roll onto my friend and down her dress. Apart from all that the way he spoke to us made us feel like we didn't belong or that we weren't good enough to be there. Well let me tell you, I've eaten at Michelin star restaurants in England and France. Ive eaten in restaurants that would make this place look like a dive and they never treated me like he did on Saturday night. The food was good we had the 5 Eye fillet. But overall we felt unwelcome and basically didn't enjoy our experience. Wont be back again.

One of Brisbane's finest top restaurants. Food was amazing, some of the best steak in Brisbane. Highly recommend their set menus for good value, although expect to take some leftovers home unless you have a very big stomach. The BBQ ribs are to die for. Excellent friendly staff service from the wait staff and chefs.

If you’re wanting to enjoy a delicious steak with all the trimmings Black Hide is definitely on everyone’s list in Brisbane for a reason. Food & service was absolutely spot on with sharing a heap of sides for entree (don’t miss the BBQ Beef Short Ribs) and then onto the main event, I chose a Wagyu Sirloin cooked to perfection at medium rare washed down with a nice selection of wines. Definitely worth a visit.

Disappointed with the cooking. I have ordered my wagyu ribeye to be medium, it was cooked rare. Quality of meat was good. Arancini and calamari for entree were great.

The black hide steakhouse is in a league of its own. Absolutely perfect food. The service was fantastic. It was a very enjoyable meal and relaxing atmosphere.
