They charge a 253 fee for being 1 month late on renewal of company. That’s ROBBERY!!! The actual renewal costs 267, so the fee is almost 100% of the yearly renewal.

The ASIC website says: "When we charge a fee, you'll receive an invoice with the amount owing and your payment options. It will also have a list of recent transactions and any fees that were charged." So naturally if you know this and want to keep normal business expense records but you don't receive an invoice, you go looking for one - or a receipt. Yet neither the upcoming renewal notice nor the confirmation of renewal is an invoice or a receipt. Also, the list of "all transactions" in a business's account shows no mention of a business name renewal that has been paid. And after waiting on hold for half an hour, I'm told ASIC doesn't have invoices or receipts for business name renewal. This is the typical, time-wasting, business-impeding incompetence of Australian Government web systems, and has gone on for many years.

Entire floor is completely empty. It's a ghost town up there. A single sign at the reception directs you to an ominous old telephone that connects you to their office in Sydney. Nice place to hag out in. No male toilets.

Surprisingly, I didn't have a serious problem to get there. When I had an issue with the elevator, the receptionist helped me quickly. The office is located on 20th floor.

Bad service unless you like waiting 20 mins then to be told they have no idea how to handle or answer your call. If there was a 0 star i would definitely award them. Unfortunately we can thanks the current Liberal government for cutting there funding further.

Don't even bother going there if you plan on lodging documents. They wont accept any, unless you happen to be lodging takeover documents. They wont even take documents for forwarding to their processing centre in Victoria any longer. You can pay Aust Post for that privilege.

Personally, I have not been to this location. However, I don not think it is a good place, and this place seems untrustworthy. So I shall give it a 1 star review. :D
