Our fridge/freezer broke whilst we were on holiday, I called Allianz when we came back and the guy said it would most definitely be covered get a report done. We had the report done and apparently now our level of cover doesn't cover a "fusion" compressor burn out... but if we selected another level of cover it would have. I wasn't even aware there is 3 levels of cover?? Contents insurance is contents insurance right to cover the items inside my home???!! What is it with these insurance company's always finding ways out of paying out claims. Such a joke. Will definitely be changing.

I tried calling them, was on hold for nearly an hour. I had to hung up last time as well cause it was over half an hr and they still didn't pick up the phone. Very bad service. They are generally very good when they want to sell their Cover or upgrade it but when it comes to Follow up, no one to pick up the call. Very disappointed. I had to even send them the screenshot of the timeframe i was kept on hold. Like WTH, what kind of company does that??

I was paying 120 a month for a few years for Market Value of my vehicle. They just bumped it up to 150 a month even though the market value has gone down. These Companies should not be able to get away with these sorts of increases. When i questioned them they advised its due to the number of claims that have increased in my area and the cost has gone up on repair. What a joke.

Call Back automatically hangs up on you. Staff don't know what they are doing. Extremely unprofessional. Send SCAM letters trying to DEFRAUD you. Would not this company if my life depended on it. Worked 40 years in Military never come across such an unprofessional company

My car got reversed into...given a hire car for a month...my cars not ready so now I have to pay for a hire car as alliance won't help me. They flatly refuse to help. It wasn't my fault and I can't help that my parts aren't here. Very disappointed. I have rang 3 times and get told nothing can be done.

My partner was a victim of a hit and run, we have been trying for 5 weeks to get allianz to fix it since he has full comprehencive insurance and they are flat out refusing to fix the damage. We took all the right avanues, we got the license plate and a photo of his car and the police chased it up and got his full name for the insurance company and they guy got a massive fine but allianz is refusing to fix the car on the grounds that my partner has a body kit .. The car was taken to an assesser when he first signed up because they needed to site the after market body kit, they approved it and thus he had insurance. All of a sudden they are saying no you never told us you had a body kit we arent covering the damage! Ridiculous. Its been 5 weeks and a collective 4 hours on the phone to get no where!!!

I cannot say enough good things about how my car insurance claim was handled. The matter was resolved with a minimum of phone calls. The settlement figure was good. The staff were wonderful to deal with: knowledgable, polite and professional.
