Don't ever book with them they broke Cokid regulations and don't turn off metre when shopping like Yellow Cabs. Their cars are filthy. Give them a wide nurse!!
We had Andrew pick us up from Topgolf, Gold Coast, and he was awesome. Polite, friendly, and drove us back to Cavill Av safely.
On Saturday night (13/03/2021) I requested a wheelchair accessible taxi in the city. I literally had a taxi driver look at me in my wheelchair, drive off and pretend he didn’t see me. We had to rebook and another taxi arrived at 10.35pm. This driver was incredibly rude, he was so inconvenienced by having to assist me into the taxi with the wheelchair lift. He positioned me at the back to the vehicle because its easier and quicker for him I assume. He then proceeded to drive quite unnecessarily fast and erratic. The result is me being thrown around far more than I ever have before in a taxi which lead to me being in a lot more pain than is necessary. I can’t believe that it’s 2021 and we are still having these conversations but here we go. Technically inclusion is the practice of providing equal access to opportunities, resources and the community for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalised, such as those who have physical or mental disabilities and members of other minority groups. But to create truly valuable inclusion, we must ensure that people of diverse backgrounds feel valued and respected in these environments. This is not a case of ticking boxes to meet the bare minimum mandated inclusion rights. Yes wheelchair accessible taxis are available. Taxi drivers are happy to assist disabled people when it is not a peak time for their services. But the moment they can choose an easier option, they can opt out? This night out was the first time my husband and I have been able to go into the city for over two years due to my disability and not having an appropriate wheelchair or being well enough. To be treated this way was incredibly disheartening and downright depressing, it actually ruined our night and has made me reluctant to feel included in this type of environment again. Do better Black & White Cabs.
I had the driver of a maxi cab fly past me and basically cut me off and then go through a red light at speed, I caught up to it at the next set of lights and I followed it at 90kmh before I could get the rego. I tried to call black cabs but only got a machine. Pretty poor and dangerous behaviour.
To my disappointment. I booked a luxury cab from the airport only to find that its a normal Toyota camera. I desided to go ahead with my booking but when seated in the car you get an overwhelming stench of different foods and oils. This is particularly a problem for me as smells affect me. It is safe to say I won't be making use of this company ever again. Of possible I would like a refund because this was most definitely not a premium experience.
Black &White I reckon are the best in the business. We have NEVER had a bad experience.
Fast pick up time. Inside of cab was a little dirty. Driver was a tad difficult to understand due to his accent.
