Recently I got fined for parking on the nature strip in front of my home. I submitted an online appeal for my infringement to be reviewed. In response Brimbank council refused to remove my fine even after explaining to them that I have nowhere else to park my car when placing my bins for collection due our street being squashy and small and neighbours cars being parked on the road on both sides. This council has no mercy on people I’m better off moving to the Melton area.

Great Mind

Very good but not excellent. Waiting time on the phone is reasonable, employees who answer the phone show politeness and very professional to deal with. Most of complaints and requests are taken care of but not all (not sure why?) Would like to thank the park officer/s who cut the grass at Stradbroke Reserve on 20-01-21 for the job very well done, hope to mainatin this kind of workmanship.

They are so desperate to meet end of the year revenue budget that they went around to residential properties to find ways to fine residents who were already hit hard by Covid. Even after their difficult circumstances and reasons were presented, council members showed zero sympathy.

What a redevelopment! After one whole year’s roadwork, Hampshire Rd has less driving lanes and few roadside parking space. I can see the designers are people always sit in their offices, not even give it a try to investigate what shop owners and residents really need. Impacted a lot in the past year by convid-19 and roadwork. Getting even worse because of the bad traffic after “redevelopment”. Disappointed.

A credit to the council who over the years has been trying to improve the way they operate. Trying to catch up on the years of neglect from previous mis management. Prior to government caretakership.I am a regular "complainer". however they do respond which is great to see. I do feel that there are a few neglected suburbs within Brimbank. Kings Park being one of them. It seems to be all about the sunshine hub and Afrieda st St Albans. But over the last 2 years there are some much needed rejuvination works occuring. Keep it up.
