White Owl was established by Travis Strong, Scott Eccleston, Stewart Jonson, Michael Fung, Jeremy Kruse, Mark Delaney and Glenn Hull following the loss of two close mates in the second half of 2015 to prostate cancer and suicide. Both were in their early forties and both were passionate supporters of AFL. White Owl has been established to honour their legacy, to raise awareness of men’s health issues and raise funds to go toward assisting Australian Prostate Cancer Research (APCR) and Black Dog Institute with their respective research, treatment and support programs for men’s health issues.
