Had Dupuytren's Contracture and had basically lost 50% usage of my finger on my right hand. One week after surgery had back almost 100% usage on my hand. Prof Coombs might not say much during the appointments or post op but in my case he did good work! Very happy with the result.

Professor Coombs was engaged to remove a ganglion cyst from my son's wrist. The overall experience was negative and my son has had limited movement and considerable pain since the procedure 4 years back. Professor Coombs seemed disinterested during follow up visits. We've subsequently had to undergo repeat surgery with rehab to remove the ganglion again and repair the damaged ligament. This surgery has been undertaken by a different surgeon and the results seem considerably more promising at this time.
Attended a rushed 5 min consult re a scar reduction issue. Coombs proposed a very unsatisfactory solution which he would have realised if he examined the scar (which he did not). Was rushed to front desk to pay 170.00. Arrogant beyond belief. Will not be proceeding with him.
