Aaron and the crew at Hobbies Direct have been great as I get into r/c and scale modelling. Every question and every email has been quick and concise in sourcing parts, kits, detail parts and special order. If a part has been held up by their supplier they have always let me know and their knowledge of what fits has helped me build two crawlers for me and a r/c buggy for my son. The range is awesome, the website easy to navigate and the personal garage is very handy for adding parts that fit right first time. They are my go to hobby shop. Orders have been sent well packaged and on time. Highly recommended for interstate hobbyists.

I was in hobbies direct on Tuesday which is 5th January 2021. My RC car has noises if I pull full throttle. Those noises sound like something wrong with gears. A shop assistant came to me and check my car. He said that I need to connect front wheels and rear wheels with central shaft. He said Noise would be gone if I do so. Then I told him I connected front and rear wheels already, but noise is still there. However, he insisted his idea. After I got back home. I disassembled the gear box again, cleaned all greasy gears. And then I found one main gear is worn out. Hobbies direct staff does not want to help at all. They just want to sell their long-term stocked products to customers and leave them alone. Before they severed me, one customer gave his RC car to hobbies direct mechanics to fix. That customer came to pick it up while he found some parts missing. That customer asked the mechanics where the missing parts are. Mechanics said he threw them in the bin. That customer was very angry, but he made his payment to the stupid mechanics. All in all, I will not buy anything from hobbies direct. Because of the wort experience I have ever had.
