MCL Constructions (Campbell McClennan) tackled a very difficult deck construction on my property with steel pylons being used to secure the two decks onto the back of my house which is on the side of a steep hill. I highly recommend this extremely professional company, who are so innovative in their thinking, Very easy to relate to and a pleasure to work with. Definitely rate them a 5 out of 5.
We engaged Campbell (MCL Constructions) to enclose a large first floor open balcony. We were totally thrilled with the result and the building process/experience. The project involved a new pitched/trussed/tiled roof over the balcony area, which was “cut into” the existing tiled roof. The roof was supported on new columns and filled in on the 3 open sides with full height windows/sliding doors and plaster ceiling. New/matching fascia/guttering was integrated into the existing and complete flashing inside and out to weatherproof externally and finish internally. Whilst a relatively small job for Campbell, we were amazed at his attention to detail, ability to resolve the inevitable on the job difficulties and his communication with us was nothing but exceptional. Campbell has managed to assemble a great team of reliable and expert trade personnel, all of whom, (without exception), state that they prefer to work for MCL and that Campbell is fair, reliable and honest, (views that we whole heartedly support). Campbell’s team of trade people, (led by supervisor Paul), are all qualified experts in their trades, polite, respectful and very caring for the parts of our property they had to use for access to the work site. At the completion of every day’s work, the worksite was thoroughly cleaned up. On completion, the whole worksite was professionally cleaned by MCL’s cleaner, (something that we didn’t expect). The project was completed on time and on budget, with several minor and very fair variations. We are extremely pleased with the finished project and very highly recommend Campbell (MCL) to any future clients for building projects, big and small. Campbell and his team from MCL Constructions took on a sizeable extension, a large decking/outdoor area and a large garage to our property. They completed the job on time, on budget and to a very high standard and left us with nothing but smiles and recommendations for others to invite MCL to tender for their own building jobs. MCL operates with an extremely high level of integrity and attention to detail thus constituting a rare find in the building game. Visitors to our home have a common reaction when they enter the renovated part of our house: "Wow". We've also received many positive comments from other tradies visiting the site.
