I would like to give a huge thank you to my nurse Shirley. I am a patient on 4 North and it is 1am. I am feeling, let's say, 50%. I have had a rough road to recovery, I am hearing a MET call, but still Shirley has showed compassion and respect, thanks, she attended the Met call, as she needs to but made sure she came back to check I was ok
My father had a procedure today and everything was normal, been the man he is, he has lots of medical issues under his belt and a very worn down human-being, he wasn’t recovering as expected, so Debbie (i believe) rang me every half an hour to touch base as i had a 50 min drive to pick him up then 1.5 hour drive to get him home, so he gets transferred to a ward for observation and then 4 hours go past i hear nothing, spend 15 mins on phone with it ringing to get someone to answer to say that his procedure is always a overnight stay, and i should have been told that i couldn't pick him up today, funny that originally they were ready to check him out as soon as he was ok. After nearly 50 hospital visits for a list of issues with his body i am appalled with this, sitting home worrying. And get told that they have no idea what time doctor will see him so another day waiting. Very much a joke when its a private hospital. I applaud Debbie for caring she needs a pat on the back.

The staff at Epworth Eastern made my wisdom teeth removal an absolute breeze! Shoutout to Brett from the anaesthetist team who was really chill and kept me calm pre-op.

Was Absolutely fantastic , All the staff were wonderful, which made my experience here terrific From admissions , surgery staff that cared for me and to all ward staff that looked after me at 4north BED 28B Thank you , l had a bilateral Armlift with one of the most best surgeons Carmen Munteanu , l felt so looked after by my surgeon and the staff at this hospital and was very impressed at the team work I am so Grateful for the excellent care l received Julia LAURIE
I originally presented at a public hospital ED after a really bad ankle break. Due to COVID-19, I was then sent to Epworth Eastern for the surgery to correct the break. From the time I arrived until the moment I left, the support, service and encouragement from the Doctors and the AMAZING nurses from Ward 5S and ICU was outstanding. I can't speak highly enough of this hospital and the care received. I've since taken out private hospital cover, just in case I need hospitalisation again, because I wouldn't want to be treated anywhere else
