Love this place! In The sunny day I decided to search the old bookstore that I visited a few years ago on Google Street. For so many years, I don’t remember the address, I don’t remember the name, but I always remember this store. What the oldest book at your hand? maybe that the parents of the age of it, but, in this old little bookstore ,oftenly could see the old book of old scum, vintage .I am glad that this small bookstore is still there for so many years.

What a groovy store! I found some hard to find Roger Zelazny novels that I'd been hunting for a long time and was also impressed by the sheer variety of books on offer. Boswell's prices are reasonable and there's everything from classics to pulp to modern and it is all easy to find as it has been clearly sorted in the shelves. I could spend so much on just buying the old pulp novels for their amazing art on the covers alone. Boswell's is now on my routine stores list.
Great little book store, has been part of Ashgrove for over 40 years , rabbit warren of second hand books from floor to ceiling with such a diverse range of books your sure to find something you want. Also the cheapest place in town to get your watch batteries replaced on the spot, only 8.
When you first enter Boswell's books and coins, you feel as though you enter a parallel universe! Though, unfortunately time doesn't stop whilst you're in the store, you can imagine it really does. The selection of books from all genres is outstanding and if you can't find exactly what you want, you'll be sure to walk out with 5 others you didn't know you wanted. seriously, it can't just be me right? If you don't find exactly what you wanted, the friendly staff will always search out the back for you, or search online and get the book in for you. No request is too weird. What I love most though, is the smell and feel of the place. It feels like borrowed time and lost moments and new discoveries. It smells like old books and the best memories. Our family call this shop Diagon Alley! We LOVE it. The staff are always helpful, the premises are quirky and interesting and the smell of old books is enticing. You can always ring ahead to see if they have the specific book you are after (they almost always do)....but good luck leaving with only 1 book with such reasonable prices! It is great to go to a shop with personality rather than a normal sterile bookshop. Why would you go elsewhere?
Really this place is a blast from the past! I love it. Really affordable books and an excellent range - even from the latest best selling authors! If you are keen to waste your money then continue to buy brand new - otherwise....
