Great food and cold beer in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. A great little country town pub.
5 star because bistro food tasty, well presented. Extensive menu. Welcoming, warm fires, friendly and helpful publican and staff, pleasing atmosphere.
Doesnt claim to be more than it is..... a good old Aussie pub. Accommodation not fancy, but comfortable, old school rooms. Meals I've had have been great. But the highlight was having a beer at the bar with the locals. Had a good laugh.A flashback to Australian culture and mateship you'll only find in a rural country town.

Lovely people. Lovely food.
Very basic meal for lunch. Hubby needed GF as a Coeliac. Not sure they knew what they were doing as publican wrote " no flour" on docket. GF is much more than "no flour".!!!! Service was quite unfriendly. Need a lesson in customer service!
While passing through town we had a lovely long lunch here in a very relaxing environment. I look forward to our next visit.
