Would not recommend. The way this business operated in my opinion was disgusting. The contract is set up that even a pandemic won't result in a refund. My wifes entire family is in the UK and received zero compassion. -Kept our entire payment(less the bond for noise) -Very delayed response to pre covid emails. -Threatened legal action when we said we would not be shy to share our experience. Can't believe our experience was this bad... I'd much rather go to a business in hospitality who is actually hospitable. Shame the star reviews can't be a negative because that's how our experience was. *Edit due to the response below* "All attempts by management" was purely an offer to change the date. International travel is still not due until 2022... ridiculous to think people will put their lives on hold for an outcome pending borders... We did get married on the same day, we eloped - by ourselves with our family watching on zoom. 100% not disgruntled, just disgusted.

Absolutely spectacular place to have a scenic wedding. Not certain of facilities for aspects of a wedding beyond the ceremony. The entry way for guest and wedding party is very nice.

It is hard to come up with adequate words to describe the beauty of Maleny Retreat. Definitely a slightly lesser known gem hidden in the hinterland with jaw dropping spectacular scenery and views to give couples the 'edge of the world' feeling as they marry. I am lucky enough to have booked more weddings here this year and absolutely Iove this venue. Great facilities and staff too. Highly recommend.

Amazing venue. We had our wedding ceremony and reception here and had the most awesome day. The venue can also sleep around 60 people meaning your guests dont rush off and you can extend the day. In my mind its the best wedding venue in the Sunshine Coast. Thanks again for an unforgettable day!!!
My daughter had her wedding at this beautiful venue 1/12/18. We had a large number of guests from the UK & USA, so to share the natural beauty of the Glasshouse Mountains with family & friends from near & far was very special. The Homestead accommodation was beautiful & spacious, and as it was my daughters birthday wedding eve, we had a foodtruck arrive for early dinner & drinks & lawn games. We made use of the 'tent village' for guests after the wedding and then brunch for the guests who had stayed over the following morning. The views of the ceremony location & the reception were both truly amazing, I could not recommend it enough, the natural beauty was breathtaking! Joy was great to deal with the whole time, thank you for making their day so special!
