Waverley Rugby Club is my home from home. As somebody new to Sydney and looking to meet people and play rugby, I couldn't have asked for a better club to join. The people are fantastic - there is an amazing sense of friendship and belonging here. The standard of rugby and coaching is excellent and the facilities are the best in NSW Subbies Rugby. And the social side of the club is fantastic, so much fun. I'd recommend Waverley Rugby Club to anyone - male or female, young or old - looking to play rugby in the Eastern Suburbs.

I had been wanting to move to Australia to play some rugby for a while and when I discovered Waverley Rugby Club I decided to swap Scotland for Sydney. This team has become my second family - I have never come across such a warm and welcoming club. There is such an enthusiasm for women's rugby at Waverley; from the girls who play, from our coaches, and from our loyal supporters. If you are wanting to get involved in rugby in any way, this club will welcome you with open arms!
Since leaving the UK I'd been really struggling with homesickness, I joined Waverley Womens Rugby Club to play rugby and to meet new people. I never thought I'd meet such genuine, welcoming, awesome bunch of people. No rugby club has ever made me feel at home like the waves. I've now met my best friends and developed my skills as a rugby player more and more each training session. From 7's to 15's, beach to beer cafe this club are one of a kind.
