Having walked and driven past the Bondi Rd premises for many years now, I recently undertook a 7-day detox program with the Ayurvedic Wellness Centre. It had been a long time since I had opened myself up to such an experience - physically, mentally and emotionally. Lucky me though as it was truly exceptional in every way - the team are excellent with care and attention to detail on each aspect of the program and aftercare. This ancient knowledge and practice, which is shared so authentically and soulfully, is truly something that with guidance can be incorporated into contemporaneous life and living. I commend the program and experience for those who are looking to live a fulsome and harmonious life. Best wishes.

I’ve have a detox at the Ayurvedic wellness center and I truly felt transformed. Their treatments are performed with a purpose to remove toxins, increase blood circulation and relax body and mind. If you are disciplined enough to follow the program, you will feel a big difference, sleep better and feel lighter and many more benefits. Highly recommend.

The team at the wellness centre have my complete admiration with respect to the level of gentle respectful care, the attention to detail with respect to their consideration of my complete wellness. The thorough massage therapy, the medical attention and the staff in general. The atmosphere lends itself beautifully to the healing that occurs. This place is magical. I first visited the centre in early 2019 with a chronically blocked ear and – in stark contrast to the multiple western doctors I’d seen about the problem – the team treated the cause rather than the symptom. I’ve since done two panchakarma detoxes, which are utterly transformative. In addition, I’ve developed a new understanding and interest in the way the body works and the often-inconceivable link between the mind, body and emotions. Believe me, it’s magical. To top it off, the staff – from the owners to the doctors and practitioners – are all wonderful at what they do. I'll sing the praises of this place to anyone who'll listen!

I booked in for a 7 day Panchakarma detox, it was suggested I have a massage first. The massage was 150, only to be completely drowned in "medicated" oil, the massage bed did not even have a face opening, so it was like breathing your own carbon dioxide for an hour, probably most unpleasant massage I have had. Based on the experience of this massage, I tried to cancel my 7 day Panchakarma detox, only to be called into their office and pressured by the "doctors" for over an hour to go forward (and pay another 2000). I declined and they then informed me that they had a no refund policy and kept my deposit of almost 1000. No explanation for the keeping of deposit was given by the owner Rita, despite me notifying them well over 48hrs prior to detox commencement, except that it "took time to write scripts". Whole experience left a very bitter taste in my mouth.

If you are seeking an authentic traditional holistic healing experience, I highly recommend the Ayurvedic Wellness Centre. The practitioners and staff are dedicated and highly professional, and the treatment rooms are first class. I have had amazing results after completing the 7 day detox program and taking the Ayurvedic herbal supplements prescribed. My rheumatoid arthritis has gone into complete remission and I am medication free.
